We select our superior boats on the basis of reviews, experience and customer feedback.
Superior boats are a a little older than our luxury boats and are often called "deluxe" on other sites. But then, they call all boats deluxe because they can get away with it. The advantage of these boats is that they are a little cheaper than our small portfolio of true luxury boats.
They all offer AC overnight, are traditional in style and have been enjoyed by our customers before so we feel we can recommend them.
They cruise the backwaters from Alapuzzha and can offer 1 to 3 night cruises. (Our favourite is the 2 night cruise!)

- All Meals
- Private Houseboat - no other groups on board
- Crew of captain, chef and mate
- AC in bedrooms overnight (AC does not operate in open areas for obvious reasons)
- Tea, Coffee, Bottled Water (please note the Kerala government is discouraging the drinking of sugary drinks so houseboat companies are reducing the availability of said drinks)
Excludes:
- Alcoholic beverages (forbidden from sale on houseboats)
- Transfers from hotels or city
Transfers
We can arrange transfers from Cochin, airport or further afield which will be quoted separately. (Handy Note: We can arrange for you to stop with driver to purchase beers, wines (etc) for drinking aboard)
