Guided Chennai Bazaar Walk

This trail takes you through one such bustling market place. Georgetown. Fascinating history, streets teeming with life and spilling over with colour, noise and exuberance; a visit to the heart of Georgetown is an experience one doesn’t forget in a hurry. The well thought-out route takes you through the best of this market place, while intertwining history, mythology and folklore to give you a true glimpse of the living India.

Outside Anderson Church, opposite the Madras High Court on NSC Bose Road.
Mostly on foot, autorickshaws may be used on short stretches. Included in the tour price.
Some of the market lanes that we walk through tend to be fairly crowded and can be a bit overwhelming for some first-timers. But just prepare yourself for some chaotic surroundings, and you will be amply rewarded with a unique cultural experience. Please dress conservatively keeping your shoulders and legs covered and wear comfortable footwear.
