Savandurga Night Trekking Bangalore
Savandurga is only 60 kilometres away from Bangalore. The rocks are bordered by two giant boulders called Karigudda and Biligudda or the black and white rocks. The rocks were featured in the film 'Passage to India' and stand 1226m above sea level. The night trek to the top has ample thrills and fun. As this is forest area you are trekking through natural habitats of Indian bears, snakes, leopard, deer and wild elephants. The guides entertain you with local tales and anecdotes around a bonfire. Enjoy views of the Manchinbele Dam from the top. The trek is a total of 5 kilometres with a moderate difficulty level. The cool air coupled with views of the rock facade in the night and at daybreak is spectacular!
